Dear spectators and friends of motor sports

The rally sport in Germany becomes popular more and more. We would kindly ask you to consider the following security advices, to remain this fact being true and to make your visit of the 49. Thueringen Rally a motor sports highlight of the year 2010.

 Approximately 1 hour before the first rally team the special stages will be closed for all traffic, with the passage of a vehicle with the inscription „SAFETY“, switched on hazard warning lights, a siren and a red flag(sometimes with a red warning beacon).

 From this point in time on, it is strongly prohibited to trespass the special stage including any closed areas. Therefore please consider the straps and sign-boards (e.g. TRESPASSING PROHIBITED – DANGER OF LIFE) along the road!

At circuits, please cross the stage only at the signposted spectator gates and only after admission of the „gate-marshals“.
Damage of barriers is strictly prohibited (demolish straps – damage, dismount or remove signs is prohibited!). For any created damage you, in case of infants the responsible person, will be called on for substitution respectively rectification.
Please avoid damage of woods and meadows and respect foreign property. Please leave your spectator area in a clean and proper condition.
 In any case please look after your children!

Please keep thinking of, that there can be gaps in the starter field, where no vehicle passes. Especially between the national and historical field will be a gap because of sports reasons. Even then please don’t trespass the special stage – because it can still be dangerous.
17. Only after the passage of a vehicle of the clerk of the course, with the inscription „SAFETY“, switched on hazard warning lights, a siren and a green flag (sometimes with a green warning beacon) the track is free for your own usage.
Please show us, dear spectators, that you are fair and proper motor sport supporters and honour through your exemplary behaviour the efforts of the active rally participants. Because safety starts with everyone’s own. And always keep on thinking – when a security strap marks the safety areas and prohibited areas it can only be a optical help – but it cannot protect your life. We will thank you for your consideration and adherence of the abovementioned facts all along the stages.
